After breakfast, there will be a cycle briefing, bike check, and a test ride to the Negombo Fish Market to get used to Sri Lankan traffic
The cycling tour continues from Negombo to Chilaw along the scenic coastal route, passing fishing villages, prawn farms, marshlands, and bird sanctuaries (50 km)
Stop to witness roadside fish markets and talk with local fishermen
Visit a toddy bar to learn about the art of toddy tapping and sample the key ingredient of Sri Lankan arrack
Enjoy a rice and curry lunch at a local eatery before transferring to Anuradhapura

Day 03 Activities

The second ride begins with leaving the hotel to cycle through Anuradhapura, the first capital of Sri Lanka, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site (40km)
Travel by magnificent stupas and monasteries and visit the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the world’s most sacred tree
If there is time, visit Mihintale Temple, the historic site where Buddhism was first introduced to Sri Lanka, and enjoy a breathtaking sunset view from the top
You can also try mantra meditation, which helps focus the mind and promotes relaxation
