I am Uvini who is an undergraduate following a Degree in Travel and Tourism at University of Kelaniya. My focus was to obtain the corporate exposure of Travel and Tourism as well as to enhance my French speaking skills. I got to know about Olanka Travels through my batch colleagues and got an opportunity to join as an Intern. I understood that the Travel and Tourism Industry is the ideal field where the foreign languages can be utilized; among that I realized from my current working place which facilitates in improving my French speaking skills. Since the Tourism and Hospitality is the growing Industry in our country, Olanka motivates those who have a great enthusiasm and dedication to begin the career in the Travel Industry. In fact the studies will be clueless if they are not offered the chance to apply the same in their working environment. Also the business organizations who volunteer to offer the practical training are very few. Hence Olanka Travels bridges knowledge gaps and provide the practical training of the field of Travel and tourism. I am Heshani who has a strong interest in Travel and Tourism. My field of study was Hospitality and Tourism which I had completed nearly six months before. Sooner I completed my Degree had got a chance to join in Olankaas an Intern. Olanka provided me with the necessary training during the period of six months which was greatly helped me to experience the practical exposure of the Travel and Tour Industry. I am feeling fulfilled with the necessary qualifications along with the experience now I am pretty much proud to be aprofessional of such a progressive firm which emphasizes the success of the company is the success of the employees.

A chance of finding a job or finding the right job is a dream for each and every person in this competitive work environment. Although a job is offered, the people who exploit the right opportunities or reach the top are very rare. I am ashan and almost one year back this was my stand and got to know about Olanaka through one of my contacts. I was joined as an Intern attached to inbound sales team where as everything was strange for me since I didn't have any experience. As time gives the answer for everything, I had got the chance to learn each and every aspect of my job and was able to acquire the relevant hands on experience of the work each and every day. The enthusiasm towards the job coupled with my abilities made me stronger and a best fit for the job gradually. This was resulted an exceptional level of performance outcomes and which was commended by my superiors. Twelve months left I had been promoted as the Assistant manager - Training and Quality, which is the first milestone of my journey of career.
